There are many strange and wonderful (but mostly horrifying) sights and people in the City Beneath and delvers traverse it for a variety of reasons. But trouble is always brewing in Spire, the City Above, and the Ministry is always recruiting. Should your delvers choose to become embroiled in the revolutionary efforts of the Ministry of Our Hidden Mistress, Aortas provides optional rules you can use to adapt the delvers to life in Spire.

Conversely, if your Gutter Cleric or Mortician Executioner have been betrayed or discarded by the Ministry and are making their way into the City Beneath in hopes of a better (or, more likely, slightly longer) lives, we provide custom origins for their Classes as a homebrew addendum to Rowan, Rook and Decard's Burned and Broken.

This work introduces optional rules for Heart: The City Beneath, and Spire: The City Must Fall and requires a copy of those games to play.
