Chefs of the Line

Welcome to Culinary School! You’ve decided to become a chef and this is the first step to getting there. Unfortunately, this school is cut-throat and everything is decided through Food Battles. Luckily, you’ve made a few friends you can trust to have your back - all you can really rely on in this battlefield called a school. Battle your way to better equipment, better facilities, and (if you’re good enough) becoming the best chef the school has ever produced!

Chefs of the Line is a game for 2-4 players (plus a GM) about navigating the chaos and difficulty of a cut-throat culinary school. It draws inspiration from the Belonging Outside Belonging and Powered by The Apocalypse systems. Touchstones include various shonen and seinen media such as Naruto, Dungeon Meshi, and Shokugeki no Soma.
